Sponsorship and capital campaign
Our five-year capital campaign to raise $3 million for our Ogilvie, Robinson, de Chabert Leadership Forum endowment is still going strong! Giving to The House truly uplifts our mission and directly impacts the lives and learning of today’s students. We hope you’ll show your love for the House by giving your time, talent, and/or treasure in any of the following ways:
Individual contributions
The ORD Fund is a shorter name for the House’s Ogilvie, Robinson, de Chabert Leadership Forum, an endowed fund established during the House’s 35th-anniversary in honor of three outstanding student leaders who contributed to the founding of the House. The sole purpose of the ORD Fund is to support our students’ leadership development, and the funds raised will solely be used for those purposes to offset expenses related to their internships, conferences, research, etc. (Funds raised are not put towards the physical plant, staffing, or other operations that are supported by Yale College.) Donors receive alumni giving “credit,” and all donors who fulfill their gifts or pledges of $5,000.00 or more by the end of this five-year campaign (by the end of 2024) will be listed on a commemorative plaque that will be mounted in The House.
- Make your tax-deductible donation or pledge securely through Yale.

Call for Archival Materials and Testimonials
The House’s History Keepers are building up The House’s archives and are ready to collect and preserve your stories of life at Yale and in New Haven! These will be stored in The House/University libraries. To be connected with a student who has been officially trained by the University archivists on conducting interviews, please let us know if you are available for a 30-45 minute interview by contacting AfAmHouse@yale.edu. You can also share your memories of life at The House/Yale and in New Haven by electronically submitting your photos, videos, or recordings to AfAmHouse@yale.edu. We are also accepting physical mementos to be displayed during our celebrations, such as early organization flyers, t-shirts, meeting notes, and more. Please contact us to learn how to submit hard copies or physical mementos.
