Join us for AACC Senior Stories! We’ll get to know each other in a more intimate setting, cherish the diversity of experiences in our community, and of course, celebrate our seniors.
Sarah and Mia’s senior stories will take place on Friday, March 18 at 5-6pm both in-person at the AACC (first floor) and on Zoom (https://yale.zoom.us/j/99899823855). There’ll be yummy Asian snacks :)
Please sign up by Thursday, March 17 at 11:59 pm to attend. If you have any questions, contact Pia (pia.gorme@yale.edu) and Sunnie (sunnie.liu@yale.edu).

Mia is an MCDB major from Austin, TX (yeehaw!). She’s interested in genetics, stem cells, and the neurobiology of cognition and will be trying to integrate all of these things into something resembling a thesis project as a grad student in the fall. When she’s not in the lab, she’s probably running long distances, procrastinating by cooking or baking something elaborate, or forgetting about the cold cup of tea on her desk. She’s excited to briefly live out her dream of abandoning academia this summer by working at a sustainable farm in rural Vermont before confronting the reality of becoming a PhD student.
Sarah is an EP&E major from rural Illinois (also yeehaw, but make it more midwest!). Ask her about healthcare policy, clinical research, or public health –– but more importantly, how to make the best cakes that use a weird combination of flavors (Pistachio and rose? Cardamom and cinnamon?). She’s also a premed, and will be taking a gap year before starting med school. Sarah’s often found dancing with Rangeela, spending way too much time thinking up an only somewhat-funny joke, or taking up a random new hobby for a few weeks (past endeavors have included film photography, beading, guitar, and growing plants).
