We are so excited to share that we will be reviving the annual Afro-American Cultural Center Outstanding Achievement Awards, also known as AACColades! These awards highlight the amazing work of Black undergraduates (first-years, sophomores & juniors only), who have excelled in various ways at Yale. The AACColades Dinner and Ceremony will take place on April 19th at 5pm at The House! Formal attire is required. The award categories are Academic Achievement, Leadership, Community Service, Artistic Achievement, Athletic Achievement, and the Timeica E. Bethel ‘11 House Leadership Award.
All Black students are eligible for these awards, regardless of their affiliation with The House (except the Timeica E. Bethel ‘11 House Leadership Award). Furthermore, the awards are divided by class year, so within each class, there will be a Leadership Award recipient, Athletic Achievement Award recipient, etc.
Award winners have already been notified. Come and celebrate your classmates on April 19th, at 5pm at the House!
