AACC Community Research Day

The Yale Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) seeks to foster and showcase a community of scholars conducting research on issues that further our understanding of the community we hope to serve. The AACC Community Research Day is a casual scholarly and social convening where students from all disciplines, schools, and years can come together to engage each other’s research, ask questions, and share works in progress. The Community Research Day will also feature the work of our Satoda Scholars, who have been conducting original research related to Japanese American internment and incarceration studies more broadly.
Please submit the following form (https://forms.gle/v8ictT2rPSidwjHe7) if you are interested in presenting at our fourth annual AACC Community Research Day as part of our 2022 Pan-Asian American Heritage Month (PAAHM). The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 31st, from 530-7pm. Presentations should be around ten minutes long and do not need to showcase completed research projects. Versions of previous or current course papers and senior essays are welcome! The annual AACC Community Research Day is a low-stakes, communal space for students to engage in generative dialogue and share their ideas at whatever stage they’re in!
Students from all schools and disciplines are welcome to present their work! Yale College students are especially encouraged.
